Obituary for Walter C. Doll Jr.

DOLL, Walter C. Jr., of Milford passed away Wednesday February 10th, 2010 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Lucy Doll (nee; Wells), loving father of Walter C. Doll III (Debbie), Vicki Doll and Kathleen Doll. Affectionate grandfather of Landon, Kristin, Heather and Joshua. Caring brother of Marilyn Smith (Dr. Doug) and uncle of Lori Greer, Steve Smith (Pam) and Andrea Colbert (John). Walter also leaves behind his devoted dogs; Patches, Daisy and Gigi. Mr. Doll was a lifelong Clermont County resident and was the founder of the Doll Bldg. which houses the Walter C. Doll Insurance Agency. He spent his life serving the community and always appreciated everyone�s business. He attended Miami University, Oxford and was a WWII Army veteran stationed in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska during the war. He was a loving family man who inspired his children to work hard, keep a good attitude and get along well with everyone. He was a Mason and a Shriner and enjoyed boating, 4 wheeling and riding his tractor and being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending the winters in south Florida. He was a man who was well loved. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will begin 11AM Tuesday February 16th with visitation from 5 till 8PM Monday, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home & Crematory. Masonic services begin at 7:30 PM, Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Midwestern Children�s Home 4581 Long Spurling Rd. Pleasant Plain, OH 45162. Please note, service dates and times have changed due to the inclement weather. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2/16/2010 from 5 to 8pm and the Service will be on Wednesday, 2/17/2010 at 11am, all at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home.
